Tasmā gha-pato smiṃvacanassa yaṃ hoti vā.
Kaññāyaṃ, kaññāya; rattiyaṃ, rattiyā; itthiyaṃ, itthiyā; yāguyaṃ, yāguyā; vadhuyaṃ, vadhuyā.
- Kaññāyaṃ = kaññā + smiṃ (‘ā’ is named ‘gha’ (§60); ‘smiṃ’ is substituted by ‘yaṃ’ (§216)).
