Tato ārādesato sabbesaṃ yonaṃ okārādeso hoti.
Satthāro, pitaro, mātaro, bhātaro, kattāro, vattāro.
Tuggahaṇena aññasmā pi yonaṃ okāro hoti. Caturo janā (Khu. i, 336), gāvo, ubho, purisā.
- Satthāro = satthu + yo (‘u’ of “satthu” becomes ‘āra’ (§200); ‘yo’ is substituted by ‘o’ (§205); ‘a’ is elided (§83)).
- Pitaro = pitu + yo (‘u’ of “pitu” becomes ‘āra’ (§200); ‘yo’ is substituted by ‘o’ (§205); ‘ā’ of “āra” is shortened (§209); ‘a’ is elided (§83)).
- Mātaro = mātu + yo (‘u’ of “mātu” becomes ‘āra’ (§200); ‘yo’ is substituted by ‘o’ (§205); ‘ā’ of “āra” is shortened (§209); ‘a’ is elided (§83)).
- Bhātaro = bhātu + yo (‘u’ of “bhātu” becomes ‘āra’ (§200); ‘yo’ is substituted by ‘o’ (§205); ‘ā’ of “āra” is shortened (§209); ‘a’ is elided (§83)).
- Kattāro = kattu + yo (‘u’ of “kattu” becomes ‘āra’ (§200); ‘yo’ is substituted by ‘o’ (§205); ‘a’ is elided (§83)).
- Vattāro = vattu + yo (‘u’ of “vattu” becomes ‘āra’ (§200); ‘yo’ is substituted by ‘o’ (§205); ‘a’ is elided (§83)).
By taking “tu”, also after other words ‘yo’ becomes ‘o’. Caturo janā, gāvo, ubho, purisā.
