Ākāro rassam āpajjate vā ge pare.

Bho rāja, bho rājā; bho atta, bho attā; bho sakha, bho sakhā; bho sattha, bho satthā.

Optionally, when ‘ga’ follows, ‘ā’ is shortened.
  1. Rāja = rāja + si (‘si’ is named ‘ga’ (§57); ‘a’ becomes ‘ā’ (§244); ‘ā’ is shortened (§246); ‘si’ is elided (§220)).
