Itthiyaṃ vattamānāya akārato āpaccayo hoti.

Sabbā, yā, sā, kā, katarā.

In the feminine, after ‘a’, [there is] the suffix ‘ā’.
In the feminine, after the letter ‘a’, there is the suffix ‘ā’.
  1. Sabbā = sabba + si (‘ā’ is inserted after “sabba” (§237); ‘si’ is elided (§220); ‘a’ is elided (§83)).
