Eta rahimhi

When ‘rahi’ follows, [there is] “eta”.

[Eta + rahimhi = 2 words]

Sabbass’ eva imasaddassa etādeso hoti rahimhi paccaye pare.

Etarahi.

When ‘rahi’ follows, [there is] “eta”.
When the suffix ‘rahi’ follows, the whole word “ima” is substituted by “eta”.
  1. Etarahi = ima + rahi (“ima” is substituted by “eta” (§236)).
