Simhi gacchantādīnaṃ ntasaddo am āpajjate vā.
Gacchaṃ, gacchanto; mahaṃ, mahanto; caraṃ, caranto; khādaṃ, khādanto.
Gacchantādīnam iti kimatthaṃ? Anto, danto, vanto, santo.
- Gacchaṃ = gacchanta + si (‘nta’ becomes ‘aṃ’ (§186); ‘si’ is elided (§220); ‘a’ is elided (§83)).
