45. 25. Ajjho adhi (58)

[Ajjho + adhi = 2 words]

Adhi icc etassa sare pare ajjhādeso hoti.

Ajjhokāse (Vin. ii, 58), ajjhāgamā.

‘Adhi’, ‘ajjh’.
When a vowel follows, ‘adhi’ is substituted by ‘ajjh’.
Examples: “Ajjhokāse”, “ajjhāgamā”.

Ajjhokāse: adhi okāse; ajjh okāse (§45); ajjhokāse (§11).

Ajjhāgamā: adhi āgamā; ajjh āgamā (§45); ajjhāgamā (§11).
