44. 24. Abbho abhi (57)

[Abbho + abhi = 2 words]

Abhi icc etassa sare pare abbhādeso hoti.

Abbhudīritaṃ, abbhuggacchati (M. i, 177).

‘Abhi’, ‘abbh’.
When a vowel follows, ‘abhi’ is substituted by ‘abbh’.
Examples: “Abbhudīritaṃ”, “abbhuggacchati”.

Abbhudīritaṃ: abhi udīritaṃ; abbh udīritaṃ (§44); abbhudīritaṃ (§11).

Abbhuggacchati: abhi uggacchati; abbh uggacchati (§44); abbhuggacchati (§11).
