182. 97. Sassa c’ o (374)

[Sassa + ca + o = 3 words]

Tasmā manogaṇādito sassa ca okāro hoti.

Manaso (Khu. ii, 14), thāmaso, tapaso.

And ‘o’ of ‘sa’.
After the group “mano” and others, the inflection ‘sa’ is substituted by the letter ‘o’.
  1. Manaso = mana + sa (‘sa’ becomes ‘o’ (§182); ‘s’ is inserted (§184)).
