[Kiṃsmā + vo = 2 words]

Kim icc etasmā va-paccayo hoti sattamyatthe.

Kva gato ’si tvaṃ devānaṃ piyatissa.

After “kiṃ” [there is] ‘va’.
In the meaning of the seventh [inflection], after “kiṃ” there is the suffix ‘va’.
  1. Kva gato ’si tvaṃ Devānaṃ Piyatissa (where have you gone, Devānaṃ Piyatissa?):
    • Kva = kiṃ + va (‘va’ is used in the meaning of the seventh inflection (§251); “kiṃ” is substituted by “ka” (§227); ‘a’ is elided (§83)).
