Tumhassa tuvaṃ-tvaṃ aṃmhi

When ‘aṃ’ follows, “tuvaṃ” and “tvaṃ” [of] “tumha”.

146. 236. Tumhassa tuvaṃ-tvaṃ aṃmhi (324)

[Tumhassa + tuvaṃ-tvaṃ + aṃmhi = 3 words]

Sabbassa tumhasaddassa savibhattissa tuvaṃ tvaṃ icc ete ādesā honti aṃmhi vibhattimhi.

Kaliṅgarassa tuvaṃ maññe, kaṭṭhassa tvaṃ maññe.

When ‘aṃ’ follows, “tuvaṃ” and “tvaṃ” [of] “tumha”.
When the inflection ‘aṃ’ follows, the whole word “tumha” together with the inflection is substituted by “tuvaṃ” and “tvaṃ”.
Examples
  1. Tuvaṃ = tumha + aṃ (“tumha” together with the inflection ‘aṃ’ is substituted by “tuvaṃ” (§146)).
  2. Tvaṃ = tumha + aṃ (“tumha” together with the inflection ‘aṃ’ is substituted by “tvaṃ” (§146)).
