Read in the chapter →142. 242. Tuyhaṃ mayhañ ca (321)
Sabbesaṃ tumha-amhasaddānaṃ savibhattīnaṃ tuyhaṃ mayhaṃ icc ete ādesā honti yathāsaṅkhyaṃ se vibhattimhi.
Tuyhaṃ, mayhaṃ dhanaṃ dīyate.
Se ti kimatthaṃ? Tayā, mayā.
- Tuyhaṃ = tumha + sa (“tumha” together with the inflection ‘sa’ is substituted by “tuyhaṃ” (§142)).
- Mayhaṃ = amha + sa (“amha” together with the inflection ‘sa’ is substituted by “mayhaṃ” (§142)).
What is the purpose of saying “when the inflection ‘sa’ follows”? [This sutta does not apply when ‘sa’ does not follow, such as in] tayā, mayā.
Without the footnotes: they are on the chapter card.
