Aṃ iti niggahitaṃ

Aṃ iti niggahitaṃ (niggahita (nasalization)) nāma hoti.
Tena kvattho? Aṃ byañjane niggahitaṃ.
‘Ṃ’ is the niggahita.
‘Ṃ’ is called niggahita.
What is the benefit of that [calling it “niggahita”]? [It is beneficial in suttas such as] “Aṃ byañjane niggahitaṃ” (§30).
