[Liṅgaṃ + ca + nippajjate = 3 words]

Yathā yatthā jinavacanayuttaṃ hi liṅgaṃ, tathā tathā idha liṅgañ ca nippajjate.

Taṃ yathā? Eso no satthā, brahmā, attā, sakhā, rājā.

And the base should be established.
Here the base should be established in such a way that it conforms to the Word of the Victorious One.
As what? Eso no Satthā (this is our Teacher), brahmā (Brahmā), attā (the self; oneself), sakhā (friend), rājā (king).
