52. 60. Jinavacanayuttaṃ hi

[Jinavacanayuttaṃ + hi = 2 words]

“Jinavacanayuttaṃ hi” icc etaṃ adhikāratthaṃ veditabbaṃ.

Conforming to the Word of the Victorious One.
“Conforming to the Word of the Victorious One (Buddha)”. This should be understood as a governing aphorism, i.e., as applying to all the suttas backward and forward.
