Smiṃmhi raññe rājini

138. 121. Smiṃmhi raññe rājini (317)

[Smiṃmhi + raññe-rājini = 2 words]

Sabbass’ eva rājasaddassa savibhattissa raññe-rājini icc ete ādesā honti smiṃmhi vibhattimhi.

Raññe, rājini sīlaṃ tiṭṭhati.

When ‘smiṃ’ follows, “raññe” and “rājini”.
When the inflection ‘smiṃ’ follows, the whole word “rāja” together with the inflection is substituted by “raññe” and “rājini”.
  1. Raññe = rāja + smiṃ (“rāja” together with the inflection ‘smiṃ’ is substituted by “raññe” (§138)).
  2. Rājini = rāja + smiṃ (“rāja” together with the inflection ‘smiṃ’ is substituted by “rājini” (§138)).
