Madhu icc evamādito rapaccayo hoti “tad ass’ atthi” icc etasmiṃ atthe.
Madhu yassa atthi, tasmiṃ vā vijjatī ti madhuro (Vin.A. ii, 10). Evaṃ kuñjaro (Khu. ii, 5), muggaro (PvA. 4), mukharo (M. i, 38), susiro (MA. ii, 200), (sīsaro, sukaro, suṅkaro), subharo (Vin.A. i, 186), suciro, ruciro (Khu. ii, 5).
- Madhu yassa atthi, tasmiṃ vā vijjatī ti madhuro (there is sweetness of/in it, or [sweetness] exists in it: something sweet).
Likewise:
- Kuñjo yassa atthi, tasmiṃ vā vijjatī ti kuñjaro (there is a big jaw of/in it, or [a big jaw] exists in it: an elephant).
- Muggā yassa santi, tasmiṃ vā vijjantī ti muggaro (there are green peas of/in him, or [green peas] exist in him: one who has green peas).
- Mukhaṃ yassa atthi, tasmiṃ vā vijjatī ti mukharo (there is a mouth of/in him, or [a mouth] exists in him: a talkative one).
- Susī yassa atthi, tasmiṃ vā vijjatī ti susiro (there is a hole of/in it, or [a hole] exists in it: that which has a hole).
- Sīsaṃ yassa atthi, tasmiṃ vā vijjatī ti sīsaro (there is a head of/in him: one who has a head), suko yassa atthi, tasmiṃ vā vijjatī ti sukaro (there is an arrow of/in him: one who has arrows), suṅko yassa atthi, tasmiṃ vā vijjatī ti suṅkaro (there is tax of/in him: one who has taxes/a ruler).
- Subhaṃ yassa atthi, tasmiṃ vā vijjatī ti subharo (there is luck of/in him: a lucky/fortunate one).
- Suci yassa atthi, tasmiṃ vā vijjatī ti suciro (there is purity of/in him: one who has purity/a pure one).
- Ruci yassa atthi, tasmiṃ vā vijjatī ti ruciro (there is radiance of/in him: one who has radiance).
