Ṇeyyo Kattikādīhi

After those that have “Kattikā” at the beginning, [there is] ‘ṇeyya’.

Tehi gottagaṇehi Kattikādīhi ṇeyyapaccayo hoti vā “tass’ āpaccam” icc etasmiṃ atthe.

Kattikāya apaccaṃ Kattikeyyo, Kattikāya apaccaṃ vā. Evaṃ Venateyyo (Khu. v, 204), Rohiṇeyyo (JA. iv, 84), Gaṅgeyyo (Khu. v, 54), Kaddameyyo, Nādeyyo, Āleyyo, Āheyyo, Kāmeyyo. Suciyā apaccaṃ Soceyyo, Sāleyyo, Bāleyyo, Māleyyo, Kāleyyo.

After those that have “Kattikā” at the beginning, [there is] ‘ṇeyya’.
Optionally, after those groups of clans that have Kattikā at the beginning, there is the suffix ‘ṇeyya’ in this meaning: “the offspring of him”.
  1. Kattikāya apaccaṃ (the offspring of Kattikā): Kattikeyyo.

Likewise:

  1. Vinatāya apaccaṃ (the offspring of Vinatā): Venateyyo.
  2. Rohiṇiyā apaccaṃ (the offspring of Rohiṇī): Rohiṇeyyo.
  3. Gaṅgāya apaccaṃ (the offspring of Gaṅgā): Gaṅgeyyo.
  4. Kaddamāya apaccaṃ (the offspring of Kaddamā): Kaddameyyo.
  5. Nadiyā apaccaṃ (the offspring of Nadī): Nādeyyo.
  6. Āliyā apaccaṃ (the offspring of Āli): Āleyyo.
  7. Āhiyā apaccaṃ (the offspring of Āhi): Āheyyo.
  8. Kamiyā apaccaṃ (the offspring of Kamī): Kāmeyyo.
  9. Suciyā apaccaṃ (the offspring of Suci): Soceyyo.
  10. Salāya apaccaṃ (the offspring of Salā): Sāleyyo.
  11. Balāya apaccaṃ (the offspring of Balā): Bāleyyo.
  12. Malāya apaccaṃ (the offspring of Malā): Māleyyo.
  13. Kalāya apaccaṃ (the offspring of Kalā): Kāleyyo.
