294. 305. Namoyogādīsv api ca (606)

[Namo-yoga-ādīsu + api + ca = 3 words]

Namoyogādīsv api ca catutthīvibhatti hoti.

Namo te Buddhavīr’ atthu (S. i, 48); sotthi pajānaṃ; namo karohi nāgassa (M. i, 196); svāgataṃ te mahārāja (Khu. v, 329; vi, 156, 331).

  1. Namo te Buddhavīr’ atthu (oh Buddha, oh Hero, may there be homage to you).
  2. Sotthi pajānaṃ (welfare to the people).
  3. Namo karohi nāgassa (pay homage to the Arahant [nāga]).
  4. Svāgataṃ te mahārāja (welcome to you, great king).
