[Hetu-atthe + ca = 2 words]

Hetvatthe ca tatiyāvibhatti hoti.

Annena vasati; dhammena vasati; vijjāya vasati; sakkārena vasati.

Also in the meaning of cause.
In the meaning of cause there is also the third inflection.
  1. Annena vasati (lives because of food).
  2. Dhammena vasati (lives because of the Dhamma [because he wants to study the Dhamma]).
  3. Vijjāya vasati (lives because of learning [because he wants to learn]).
  4. Sakkārena vasati (lives because of honor [because he expects honors]).
