[Saha-ādiyoge + ca = 2 words]

Sahādiyogatthe ca tatiyāvibhatti hoti.

Sahā ’pi Gaggena saṃgho uposathaṃ kareyya (Vin. iii, 166), vinā pi Gaggena (Vin. iii, 166), mahatā bhikkhusaṃghena saddhiṃ (Vin. iii, 45; D. i, 1; ii, 81); sahassena samaṃ mitā (S. i, 18).

In connection with [words] that have the meaning of “saha” and others there is also the third inflection.
  1. Sahā ’pi Gaggena saṃgho uposathaṃ kareyya, vinā pi Gaggena (the Saṅgha should do the uposatha with Gagga or without Gagga).
  2. Mahatā bhikkhusaṃghena saddhiṃ (together with the great Community of bhikkhus).
  3. Sahassena samaṃ mitā (measured evenly with one thousand).
