[Appassa + kaṇ = 2 words]
Sabbassa appasaddassa kaṇādeso hoti iya iṭṭha icc etesu paccayesu.
Kaṇiyo, kaṇiṭṭho.
“Kaṇ” of “appa”.
When the suffixes ‘iya’ and ‘iṭṭha’ follow, the whole word “appa” is substituted by “kaṇ”.
